LOOKY!!!! Meet Dingo!!!!!! He needs a new forever home!!!!

Thanks Wolf!

Angel - I agree about the neutering. The dog in the neighborhood must be done, he is not jumping the fence anymore. Hubby on the other hand is not agreeing to me having him neutered, as he is adamant about me giving him up. For some reason he just does not like him and is not willing to compromise. I know if he let me keep him, everything little thing that happens or goes wrong would be Dingo's fault and every little molehill would become Mount Everest! Even knowing this, I just can't calm down and keep my emotions in control. I am VERY attached to Dingo and this is killing me!

he does sound like a wonderful dog and I agree with the other poster, neutering him would most likely help with the escape mentality. Also, he may just be craving attention from humans. Why won't your husband allow neutering? Men have such a problem with that but don't have a problem with more invasive surgery such as spaying a female. Good luck.

I always get rid of the thing making me make the decision. Ie your husband.
But for real neutered dogs are 100% easier to rehome.
There are places where you can get vouchers to get your dog neutered for almost free. 20$ is standard.
Call one of those shelters and say he is a stray you have taken in.(It's the truth anyhow.) Ask about getting him neutered.
Sounds like your hubby doesn't know how much he is upsetting you ether.
It would also stop him from jumping/running most likely.

An underground fence a few feet in front of your privacy fence would stop him jumping out permanently.

Underground fences only work sometimes and they are actually more dangerous for the dog being contained if a stray dog comes in and attacks. Personally I think they should ban the darn things.

Still nothing?

Did you post about him in your state's thread in the Where am I where are you section???

Just an idea in case you haven't.

Sure am keeping you both in thoughts and prayers that he gets a great forever home! Huge kudos to you for trying so hard to do the best for him in your situation.

Please tell me what's not flashy about him. I think anyone would adopt him in a minute once they say him. He is a HANDSOME guy!!! I sure hope you find a home for him. I would take him but unfortunately live a few thousand miles away from you.
