Loooongest hatching record?

Whats the longest "labor" can chickie hatch ? My chickie started to hatch since 6 this morning, its now 12 hours and has not come out yet!. She is breathing and has a hole about the size of quarter .

I had one take 36 hours and be fine. Just give it time.

27 hours ! Shes still fighting her way out! one leg is out of the shell and kicking like crazy !! Last night 3 others came out of their shells!

I come home from work to see that poor chickie still fighting to get out 34 hours later !! I had no choice but to try to help her , I used a warm wet paper towel and wrapped around the egg and worked the shells off. She was so glad to be out !

Now she wont stop chirping and she is doing very well. I am glad I was able to save her. (I had no experience! )

This is the chickie I saved .H er toe was bent from trying to get out of the shell so long ! shes is fine now! She is now 9 weeks old, Part Astralourpe and silkie..
