loosing feathers just on top of back

I have 4 grown RR chickens, 3 12 week olds, and 10 7 week olds. 2 of the grown hens have lost the feathers on the top of their backs leaving a pink colored bald spot. About half of the 7 week old chicks are now losing the feathers off of their backs also.

any ideas?

Do you have a rooster? Could be why the hens are loosing feathers.

Look for lice and mites also.
