Loosing feathers

A woman i know has this problem with her pet quail. Can anyone advice please ?



She has a female japanese quail who is 1 year old she is very healthy loves eating all different types of food but i have a problem


she is starting to loose her feathers under her wings, on her belly and around her neck...Would you be able to tell me what is wrong with her?


She is an indoor pet and she reguarly has baths in both sand and water, gets multi vitamins in her water and is well looked after and im really worried about her

Has she been trying to sit on eggs??? She may be trying to go broody otherwise it may be loneliness if she is by herself or picking from the other birds.. I am gonna say trying to go broody..
