Hi, I'm here in LA as well. We have 4 girls now. 2 8 week old Buff Orpingtons (BOs) out in the coop and 2 9 day old BOs in the brooder. Whereabouts in LA are you?

Are you planning on getting pullets or baby chicks? I'd be happy to show you our setup. We were fortunate enough to visit with other chicken owners before getting ours and although I had read a ton about it, it was nice to see it in practice.
