Hi all!!!
I am a true pure bred Cali girl but love a balanced life! I moved to Houston and after having a successful garden last summer I thought I would raise organic eggs! I built my own coop, and rescued (bought) 2 hens from a chicken breeder (he was so rough with them and even sawed off their beaks... poor babies)... I have had them 2 weeks and absolutely love them!!!I have been reading from the forum and a lot of my questions are being answered, though admittedly I dont understand the lingo!
Anyway, hope I can learn from you all and share what I can. I plan to be a good mommy to these babies (they join my other "babies"- 3 rescue dogs) so we are getting along fine. Any advice or suggestions are always appreciated!
