Great news!!! I hope that you can go home soon and get back to a normal life!!!
And the news keep getting better! I was released from the hospital today. Made the 3 1/2 hour journey home and i am now sitting at my computer at home enjoying a cup of coffee.
The surgeon came into my room this morning with a big grin on his face and asked me if he could take a photo of me for his scrap book. He said he couldn't believe how well I responded to the surgery, given my high risk status and was so happy to see me up walking around and smiling when he came in. Most surgeons, he said, would not have even tried doing this surgery laproscopicly because my size and he was very uncertain if he was going to be able to pull it off but since it was successful my prognosis it way better than if he would have had to do the open surgery with a large incision.
Then, before he left the room he said "let me go see if the pahology report is in". !5 minuted later he returned again with a big smile on his face. He said that the biopsy did show that my tumor was cancer, and there were some cancer cell in the fatty tissue around my kidney but there was there was no cancer present in the lymph nodes and he is almost certain he got all the fatty tissue in the surrounding area that contained cancer cells. This means, unless the cancer returns, no radiation, no chemo, just periodic checkups to watch to see if it returns!

That is amazing! So glad you're home and recuperating.
I'll keep praying for you!
