Losing A LOT of Meat Birds this year!

I'm concerned about the meat birds we got this year! We have been raising our own birds for 7 years and we know there is always going to be new way to do things every year! We only had one year where a dog got in our pen and killed all of our birds, but never lost more than 5 birds due to under development! The concern is that this year we have lost 9 and and have a couple more that look iffy at best! Any ideas as to what might be happening or something I could change.

How old are they? If they just arrived have you given them vitamin with electrolyte in water? Shipping stress and such can be relieved by electrolyte to perk them up enough to eat.

They are around 6 weeks old. They are breathing hard and have like a thick mucus coming out of their mouths. We have tried what antibiotics we can. They were on medicated feed for an extra week because we lost 4 the first few days!
