Losing baby chicks

This is my first time with chickens. I bought 20 day old meat kings. They are a week old now and I just lost one. I know this is normal but at what age will this not be a concern?

When you eat them. All joking aside, meat birds are generally not as hardy as layers. They are designed to grow quickly (if they are the meat hybrids) and may succumb to issues with lameness, or cardiac issues because they grow faster than their organs or bones can keep up with. Slowing their growth by limiting feed helps somewhat.
