I have been losing my chciks like crazy. it really depresses me. I hatch out all these chicks and can't get any to live to aduit hood. I ahve them in an old rabbit hut. The same one that caught fire a few months ago. It had three wooden sides front is open with wire but I have some cardboard in front to keep out the drafts. The top opens. I ahve them a heat lamp in the middle. with an 100 watt bulb its too hot here now. in the 70s and 80s. I'am finding teh dead ones under the heat lamp. I ahve them on gamebird grower is that too much for them? They do good for the first few days. any ideas?
