A photo if ya could. I would assume it's a molt. Unless there are other signs of illness.

Feather loss can occur for several reasons, but if you're in the US, the most likely scenario is that their molting.

Those are pin feathers, so molting.

I’m not sure, my girls normally take care of them and they don’t let me get close
