I have three hens all three are sisters. I’m new to having chickens but I’ve noticed that one of them is losing feathers on her back. Any idea why this could be? Do I need to do something for her?

I assume you don't have a rooster. If that is the case, it could be feather picking by one of the others. What are you feeding?
We don’t have e a rooster. We feed them Purina chicken feed. The three girls seem to get a long fine and I haven’t seen them picking on each other but that’s not to say it isn’t happening.

There are a lot of different kinds of Purina feeds that range from 12.5% protein to 28% protein. Layena is 16%, Start and Grow is 18%, Flock Raiser is 20%
Which one are you feeding?
