I am brand new to ducks, I have a male and female peking ducklings and they look like they are getting bald spots on their wings and especially on their bellies (having a a hard time keeping up with their mess/keeping them dry) is this normal? I have them on a duckling specific food with niacin supplements added in.
I think they are 3 or 4 weeks old.

I know people let their duckling swim when younger, but it can lead to chilling. It's best to wait until they get their feathers in and have some waterproofing. Duckling can grow out of their fluff before the feathers start to come in. They don't seem to go through as many molts as they grow like chicks do, and they hold onto their fluff longer.

They will look like that wet, they don’t have the oils from their mother. Carefully blow dry them make sure not to burn them, they will really start to enjoy it.
