I am so glad that she has rallied, and is feeling so much better. She may have just have sprained something. You can play it by ear with the aspirin. If she seems to be doing well without it, that would be good to stop. If she starts having trouble again, restart it. You can crush it over food or put some in the water. Good luck.

This has been really helpful. Thanks. I have a chicken who currently has Marek's symptoms, she is off her legs sometimes but can still stand, she is eating less but still eating and drinking, diarrhoea and weight loss. We are weighing her daily and have her on electrolyte water and isolated. Have given her a week of antibiotics. None of the other 11 birds, ducks and hens, are affected despite her being with her for a few days before isolating. Am I right that the disease is highly contagious so the would most likely be affected? Really strange as I would have expected her to be worsening quicker with Marek's but I cant figure it out. Will try aspirin.
