So we had six ladies for 2 years and they were out and about free ranging today. I left for about 2 hours and when I came home there was a fox running up the road....not a pretty scene around the house had 1 survivor come out of the woods around 5 this afternoon. My question is if I get 7-8 week old pullets will they be ok with my 1 two year old survivor??

You'll have to see how your two year old reacts, she might get a little aggressive and accidentally hurt one. Introduce slowly and always watch :)

I'm so sorry about your flock :hit

They probably will be. There will be a pecking order established, no pun intended. It all depends on the survivors personality. She may take to them or not. I would introduce slowly at first just to see.

Yes, but put them in a see-no-touch set up while they get acquainted. Temporarily. And make a secure run, fox will be back! So sad to lose them, I've lost some to coyotes. The survivors don't get much free ranging any more.

You would want to integrate them just like any other new flock members. Your hen will be stubborn at first (this happened to me) but it'll all work out in the end.
