I incubated 9 turkey eggs and it turned out that something had went wrong with the humidity or tempt. But I candled my eggs one day and had movement I mean lots of movement. It got really cold one night and the eggs got really cold also the next day I candled them and they seemed to have been moving slower than the day before. I got the eggs back warm and candled them the next day ands well the embryo died!!!! So sad. But I cracked my more mature one open because it wasn't moving and looked like he was just floating

around in there against the shell. It turned out it was dead too. (But I am wanting to know how mature he was.) it was sad. It was just getting feathers.

I made a homemade one from off the internet. But won't be doing that again. It was the light I believe, it just wasn't putting off enough heat. This was my first time incubating and was still learning in the process. Where I had the eggs it just got way to cold apparently. I know it could be many different things that could have went wrong especially with it being my first homemade one.. That is a bad experience of losing eggs don't wanna do that again... But on the bright side my 1 hen has gone broody on me and she also layed 9 eggs but my tom got in there and crushed 5 of them before her and I could get him away from them. So I moved her nest up higher and she is enjoying being left in peace. The eggs are about a week old and she managed to let me candle them and all four are fertile. So yay and now my other hen is still laying in a different nest but has not gone broody yet...
