Kathy, SMZ-TMP is the same as Bactrim, and it is used to treat ear and urinary infections in people, along with some respiratory infections. Also coccidiosis, and other infections in chickens.

Lol, not questioning your advice, just wondering how effective it is against cocci. I'll stick with amprolium, cause I know it works. I have been advised to switch to Di-Methox if it doesn't. But as always your posts are very helpful and may ultimately help someone out. :)
