I'm so upset and sick to my stomach and probably won't sleep tonight. I am new to raising chickens and had 7 pullets that are 14 weeks old. This evening my Cuckoo Marans was killed and two of my EE's are missing. The other 4 went back to the coop and are safe. My guess and hope is that the two missing flew up somewhere to roost because they were scared. We are almost positive that it was a neighborhood dog that did it. I have been crying all evening and just want my girls back! Has anyone ever had this happen where they were missing and came back? Please pray for Patti and Belle to make it through the night and come home tomorrow! Please!
