On Thursday I noticed that one of my Ameracaunas seemed a bit "off" not clear why? Thought maybe she was broody perhaps. I had to go out of town on business and husband told me she seemed weird last night and he found her dead in coop this morning. She had seemed a bit wobbly too. Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful. I am very sad and concerned. I was thinking maybe egg binding? Clogged oviduct? My husband did a pseudo autopsy as he used to hunt and knows how to git birds. No egg was present.I just am very upset. She was about 6-7 mos old. Good layer. Bib beautiful blue eggs. My Carmela RIP. Thank you.
