I'm so sorry.....
Sadly, it seems like many of their little bodies are programmed to self destruct way too young, thanks to humans....it was heartbreaking watching Betty, who was joyous every single minute of life when she felt well, deteriorate and feel awful, with what turned out to be eggs rotting inside her from internal laying....(a partial surprise because earlier x-rays had shown nothing there). For awhile antibiotics and anti-inflammatories seemed to make her feel somewhat better but then they stopped working and a hysterectomy came too late to save her.
