Don't be too quick to expel it. I mark ones I think may be quitters but leave them in the incubator, surprise...View attachment 2059204
I see at least one normal looking vein.If the stuff inside is moving freely it's a goner.
Is that a blood ring I see in the 4th picture?
90 degrees is way too low. It should be at least 99.5 degrees. If its been that temp the whole time I'll be amazed if any of them hatch. Humidity is super high too, the chicks may drown when they pip. If any make it to lockdown they are going to hatch really late. Like a week late. Up the temp to 99.5-100 degrees. If that is all the same egg I would say it's alive. Sone of those pics look totally normal to me. Put a question mark on it though and see what happens. Good luckThese photos are all of the same egg. Temp is at 90 and humidity has been high. I am having trouble with that, around 82% which I’m aware is WAY high. They’ve been doing great until today and the drastic difference in candling with this one since yesterday has me worried.
My incubator is set to 45 celsius and my the separate thermometer I have in there says 90 degrees, so one is way off. I have the Janoel12 incubator and so far am not liking it due to these programming issues. I had the incubator set to 37.5 but the eggs themselves felt not warm enough, which is when I bought the separate thermometer and learned I was right about the temp reading being way off.90 degrees is way too low. I have that one too it works great for me. @My hen house figured out how to change the readibg on top to Fahrenheit, I dont remember how to do it. One thing i can tell you is don't put water in the bottom like the manual says. I just threw away the manual, it's worthless. Put a couple small cups in the bottom under the tray. Here's what I use. If you pour water in the bottom it makes more surface area and that makes more humidity. Is your thermometer calibrated? Change the numbers on top and keep going up until the temp is good. You can wrap the bator in a blanket leaving just the vent on top exposed also to help regulate temp. Hope this helpsMy incubator is set to 45 celsius and my the separate thermometer I have in there says 90 degrees, so one is way off. 45 Celsius is way to high. That's 113 Fahrenheit. It should be 37.5 C./99.5 F. 90 F is too low. The chicks may still hatch but will be a couple of days late. It will take a little longer to develop. 113 will cook them. Hopefully you will figure it out. As I stated, it is set that way because the programming is off. It was not actually at 113. They are hatching now a few days late and doing very well. Thank you.45 Celsius is way to high.
