Lost chicken

I am very upset as I was cleaning out the coop and my blind chicken got scared and disappeared. I have looked for hours and can't find her.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Will she try to come back to where she hears the rooster?
Feeling extremely guilty because I didn't watch her closer.
