LOST Fans! :)

They are going to make all the adjoining stories so convoluted and confusing they will loose most of their viewers long before the end. They've almost lost me now because I don't like to have to figure why who is were doing what in which reality and why,, because while I'm thinking about that I miss what happens next.

I have to admit, I've been very disappointed in this season. Like has already been said they are just making things more confusing instead of giving answers. This whole "other reality" thing seems like they are just putting something in there to take up time.

Then there was the bear trap from last week. A bear trap? Seriously how many times has the man getting caught in a bear trap been used through the years. Talk about jumping the shark. If they can't come up with something more original than that they may as well pack it in.

Actually it seems like they have already packed it in. It's their last year so they don't care anymore. They're just going through the motions and throwing something out there because they know we will watch it regardless.

I'll keep watching because I've been there from the start but so far haven't been impressed with the final season.

Rant over.

Huge LOST fan here. Add me to the list!

I'm seeing all kinds of things wrong with the parallel reality that don't make sense with the original reality. Jack has a kid? Hurley commented on the plane that he's the luckiest guy alive, and nothing bad ever happens to him. And there are all kinds of people showing up in the parallel reality that should have been on the island - Ben, Ethan, the asian guy who uses the translator, etc. I can't wait to see how they explain it all!

I think we might be okay with all the confusion if it wasn't the final season. I think we are all worried about it getting wrapped up. We have all loved being blissfully confused and waiting for the next episode to further confuse us. That has been the fun of the show. But now, in the final season - we want answers! And they just keep confusing us further. I just keep hoping they will be able to effectively and satisfyingly iron it all out for us. If they don't, it will ruin all that we have hung in there for!!
I will be mad!!

But, I am remaining optimistic.

I love the layers. It is like an onion. There first was the crash survivors and just some mysteries on the island. Then there were the tail survivors and some abductions. The next layer was the hatch and the Dharma initiative. Then the "others". Then, the layers keep pealing. There is Widmore and his mysterious freighter people. Then the time travel and now we are finally getting down to the core - Jacob and the man in black. All in all, I think we do have a pretty complex story that will get wrapped up eventually.

There must be some changes that exploding the bomb set in motion and that is why we see changes in the alternate reality. I will be interested to see what those are...

Well one thing I know is that it's a very intricate show...I haven't watched it in a while (since the last season?!) so I'm going to be very confused.

I totally forgot about this thread! Well anyway, the thing I hope doesn't happen is that they wrap up the series with something obvious. I really hope that it is a good ending that ties all the odd little story lines from over the years together. Does anyone have any other theories on what the island is? The most obvious to me is that maybe they are in purgatory. They could also be dead and they are all just ghosts with no deeper meaning. Another theory might be that maybe the island is some sort of Bermuda triangle type place. The other thing I have thought is maybe all the characters are really one person and all this is going on in their mind while they are in a coma or something. Any other ideas?
