It's Florida and finally the summer/spring storms are coming in. Yesterday power was out for over a hour, not a big worry since gpop1 was home and hooked the bator and hatcher to a battery to power it. Last night while he was sleeping power went out again! It was off for about 1.5 hours and temp in the hatcher got to 81F. Of course as soon as I woke him up to hook it to battery the power came back on..go figure.

I have a lot of types of eggs in there, some well developed. How much of a setback will the temperature drop do? I did candle one egg this morning which is about day 13 and the embryo was active. Will older or younger eggs suffer more from the temperature? I really hope this is nothing major. I was looking forward to a long end of the month with things constantly hatching. Worried most for my sultans(day 7), but I will be upset if the temps took out any of the eggs.

It shouldn't effect them. We had power outages last week here for two and half and five hours. And I have a hatch going right now right on time so couple hours won't make a difference
