Lost my Brahma last night...

I am so sorry for your loss. What a lovely bird! I've been too sad to write about the loss of mine, too. She was one of two brahamas, very large. She panicked off the roost and ran into the wall and broke her neck. I still feel bad about it.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. It was a hard weekend here, but today is a bit better. My three girls spent their first night in the big coop, and BOY do they love it! I feel bad Monica was not able to be there, but Joon, Munk and Butternut really enjoyed themselves. They didn't even want to come out this morning lol! Thanks again for your words, they really really helped me this weekend, and I know MANY BYCers have lost birds, and really special birds at that, so I am in good company.

My heart sank when I read the title and saw it was you. I thought she was a lovely bird and you had some great photos and videos of her that we all enjoyed very much. She will be missed.
