I feel exactly what you feel. I came home one night this Febuary and my chcken coop was on fire. I now have the 2 of the that didn't make it. Now I have 14 youger ones that are fixing to lay here in a bout another week. But I totally feel your pain.. It's a terrible feeling. I hope everything gets better!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. We just went through a similar situation where one of our dogs got into the run. Thankfully my fiancée's sister was home and was able to keep the losses to just one hen (another one was injured, but is healing nicely). It is still kind of sad to find the occasional feather left behind from the incident though.

I'm glad y'all got 2 of the dogs! Maybe you can get the rest 1 by 1 before they destroy any new birds. I wish I were closer and could give you some replacements. I have had that happen and we are all crack shots and nothing leaves here alive! I have 2 great pyreneese now and not even wild birds can come in my yard!
