Lost my little silkie :(

The little silkie I posted about getting stepped on didn't make it. She was fine last night when I went to bed and was happily snuggled up with the other 2 babies I got yesterday...but this morning she wouldn't wake up and shortly passed. I am so sad...she was the sweetest little thing ever but I just don't think something was right with her. They said she was a week old but she was TINY!! And I couldn't really get her to eat or drink. I feel guilty for not trying harder but I thought maybe it was due to the hour long car ride and then just the shock of a new home. My other 2 are doing great though...they aren't silkies...they are a Frizzle and I'm not sure what else. Supposed to be a red Frizzle but it looks nothing like the blk one so who knows.

Oh - I am so sorry, your poor baby -I am crying for you - literally. I was a afraid I would lose one or more of mine to the exploding heat-lamp bulb this morning - so I am a little emotional now. I don't think anyone who has not had chickens can understand - they really are our babies and we love each one of them!
