Lost one chicken and another is sick

I have found corid but it says it's for calves. Does it need to say chickens? Or can I use any of them?

Corid for Cattle is the right thing.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Thank you!!

Can I give Corid and Safeguard at the same time? My sick chicken's poop was dark green with mucus. I think she could have worms. I saw bits of very thin string like pieces.

Can I put both in a gallon of water at the same time?
Why would you do that?

The dewormer (Safeguard) is given orally by weight. The Coccidiostat (Corid) goes in the drinking water.

To treat most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworm you can use Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole). Both are given orally by weight; they do not mix well with water.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row.
---OR---
Valbazen dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days

Here's how to give oral medications:

This is what I've read from Merck Animal Health......

Safe-Guard® AquaSol must be administered orally to chickens via the drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days. The medicated water must be prepared daily prior to each administration.

Safe-Guard AquaSol Dewormer. Please be aware that other liquid (non-AquaSol) versions of Safe-Guard do not stay suspended in water and will not effectively treat your chickens.
