Ok so this morning I came out to a chicken having a very difficult time. She had a very full crop and appeared to be having a seizure.. then was laying on the ground. I attempted to help with the suggestions from other posts, but we had to cull her. She was struggling and nothing I seemed to do was helping.
Now another pullet is worrying me.

They are 9 weeks old. I just recently turned the extra heat light off ( they had two, and I have been slowly moving the one away) and I also moved their food and water.
I think this is what effected the first pullet. She was alone when I found her. No where near the food or water.
Now the other pullet seems to be drinking and eating but I noticed when she drank she wasn't tilting her head up to swallow and she only pecked a bit at the food, it doesn't seem to be going down her throat and is stuck in her mouth. I cleared the food from her mouth and put a couple drops of water down her throat to see if she would drink and she swallowed right away. She isn't secluded from the others. She isn't overly small. Her crop is completely empty though.
Should I separate her?
I haven't noticed any strange poops or any other weird behavior. I have turned the extra light back on just incase. It's also a bit colder today then the past few days.

Likely not a crop issue for the second pullet. Before the two I have tagged below show up, I have a few simple questions:

1.) What does her poop look like?
2.) Do you have any pictures of the pullet?

@Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive

And also, a question for the two I tagged above. In this incidence, do you think an autopsy would help? Or better yet, would a necropsy sent to a lab help? (Just curious)

Necropsy through the state lab is always going to give the best results. If that's not possible, then taking an informal look might give some answers.

What do you feed?
Is there grit available?
When you look inside her beak is there any mucous, gunky stuff, pasty material, etc.?
What does her poop look like?
What does her crop feel like?

You had to clear away the feed, could she not swallow it?
How is she housed?
Please post some photos of the chick, her poop, housing, etc. - any that you wish to share which may help us see what you see.

I would work on hydrating her, then offer some wet feed.

I'm sorry that you lost one.

Thank you for your responses. So when I put the second light on it made a big difference. Also just checking on her and making sure there was extra water and food. I also had 18 I think it was just too many. (I got rid of 5 of the boys. So I have 12 now. Much more manageable) Last night her crop was full. This morning empty and she was eating and drinking just fine. Her beak was clean and had no food residue. I really believe that the temperature change was the issue. On top of the fact that I was changing the water twice a day. I will keep an eye on her. Thank you.
