Lost one today

Well I went out to check on the baby chicks, ducks and turkeys and then to the adult hens and I noticed my rooster going crazy pacing back and forth. I counted my girls and there was only 10. I searched my whole 3 acres and couldn’t find any sign of her. She also wasn’t in the barn either. She just disappeared, there are no feathers or anything around anywhere. I’ve been feeling bummed out for the last couple hours

Maybe she just wandered off. I know my boy will get agitated when one escaped. Hoping for the best.

I’m suspecting it could have been a raccoon. There was one that set off my arlo camera around 3:30 this morning by the side of my house. I’m hoping I’m wrong but I doubt it. I am setting a trap when I go out there later today

It is possible she had decided to go broody and is setting on a clutch of eggs somewhere.
So there may still be hope.
If she was taken by a preditor, go on high alert as what ever it was will return. Lock them up securely, put up a game camera or two, maybe even put out your live traps and see what comes up.
I hope your girl returns and you dont loose any more.
