I hope so but I’m not sure. I definitely plan on getting a game camera for out there. I’m also going to be covering the run. We haven’t done it yet because it’s the entire length of the barn and is such a wide space , but we have to do it. We started with 17 chickens last year and of the original now we have 11. I don’t want to loose anymore of them or any of the baby chicks, ducks and turkeys that we will be putting out there in a few weeksIt is possible she had decided to go broody and is setting on a clutch of eggs somewhere.
So there may still be hope.
If she was taken by a preditor, go on high alert as what ever it was will return. Lock them up securely, put up a game camera or two, maybe even put out your live traps and see what comes up.
I hope your girl returns and you dont loose any more.
