It got so warm today that the ducklings and chicks have barely used the heating plate at all.

Took the babies out to enjoy the warm day for a half hour. They're now back inside.
And before some of you come at me about Colonel being near them, since I was with them the entire time they were out, he refused to get any closer.
And yes, they preferred walking through the mud over the fresh bedding that I put down yesterday

Well some people like to voice their opinions on whether or not ducklings should be walking through mud. That's why I said that they preferred the mud over the bedding.

In my opinion, it's like when little kids play in the mud. It makes them less likely to get sick from it as they grow up.

I've been wanting to take mine out for some fresh air, but the weather has just been ridiculous. And today was nice but I was sleeping. Next week is supposed to be cold and rainy.
