Lost three meaties

Just got a call from neighbor caring for our birds that three of our meaties were dead this morning. We are on our way home from cabin. Have appointment with processor for tomorrow. My worry is about loosing any more before they get butchered. It was hot last night & they probably should have been butchered last week but we couldn't get a spot. The procedure is that we bring them to processor tonight, put in their cages & they are butchered in the morning. No feed today but they have plenty of water. It's cooler today but I am still worried! Any words of wisdom??!!??

Not much you can do now but hope for the best.. Once they pass prime butchering age you have MUCH more issues.. Good luck on the remaining birds...
