Yes! They do not explode. If they eat to much, they just poop it out. They are not fish.

it looks like according to this 4 -4.5 lbs to get them to 16 weeks a pound and a third to a pound an a half to get them to 8 weeks it would be intresting to see how your findings line up with this publications

i'm sorry to say this but, i will be stopping for now, it is not to do with what people have been posting, but it is to hard we don't have a good scale so need to borrow on every week etc.

hover i have a batch of a dozen eggs in the incubator due in a few days time, if i get the time i will do the test with these chicks.

Cool !! I'm really embarrassed I've raised thousands of bob-white quail at a time and can not tell you how much food they ate. I salute you for your effort. Question why are you raising them? hobby, food, game birds,?? Just wondering?
