Loud, Aggressive Cockerel?

My cockerel Wings, has been crowing for a few months now. But today (and yesterday, but more today) he was clucking, crowing, pacing and pecking, as well as making a whistling sound? What’s up with him? He’s also been *trying* to breed lately and I’m concerned all of my pullets will fly out because of him... mostly because they can get over, and under our run’s fence... usually they choose not to, and don’t worry we are getting a taller fence. And a lowered one, too hopefully... (also, I’m putting in a short video of him making that whistling nose so wait a minute)

Roosters tend to mature about 2 months ahead of pullets, he's doing rooster things that are normal especially when they got raging hormones. Sometimes a time out in chicken jail where he can't get to the pullets will help, they communicate with the flock as the leaders. I personally wouldn't worry about it to much unless he's trying to force himself on an unwilling pullet.

Are you sure he's the only cockerel in the flock?
Just wait until he tries to show a new layer where to lay and how to lay an egg that is quite the comedy. they use different sounds for different things, wait until ya hear him purring like a cat lol

Just a teenaged boy with testosterone in his system and one thing on his mind. A flock of older hens would put him in his place - the pullets not so much. If he really gets out of control a couple months of forced celibacy may help. Good luck with him - puberty is hard on all males.

Yes, that would be bad. The rooster will attack him.
Can you enlarge your run? It looks awfully small for that number of pullets and a randy cockerel.
