Welcome to the club!

The bad part is being the Mom and having both kids and 3 dogs trying to get on your lap because of the thunderstorm. We have had lighting strikes so close all you see is the flash a crackling noise and the boom.

I was out on a fire one night that was started by lighting, while we were doing clean up I was thinking of how glad I was that the storm had moved so far away when there was a lighting strike hit about a 1/4 mile from us. Only time in my life I tried to balance on the top of a shovel. I got back in the fire truck and told them I was done.

What started my fear was I was in a motel with my room mate watching a nasty storm and the hotel phone line got hit 3 rooms from us. She was laughting at how high I jumped.

It's suppose to be thundering from 8pm to 2am tonight...hasn't started yet.
