Loud Chick

Hi all! My husband and I just started our flock today. We bought 2 buff orpingtons and 2 araucanas. One of the orpingtons is chirping loudly, almost like something is wrong. She's been eating, drinking, pooping; she kinda goes back and forth from the heat lamp. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Is it possible she wants attention? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

She almost always quiets down when I sit next to the brooder and she can see me...

Yep it sounds like it thinks you are mother it can get annoying but It should be more tame as an adult

After we turned out all the lights in the house she quieted down in about fifteen minutes...I guess maybe she's just nosy and needed to know where I was lol. Thanks for the help!
