My chicks are normally very happy and quiet. They are only loud when one gets separated from the others.
Well, today I clipped their wings. I don't know if they are mad at me or something because just this evening they have been really loud. I let them out of their run to free range around the yard, and after about 10 minutes they all hopped on to the lower part of our railing and then tried to fly on to a patio chair. They didn't quite succeed. Anyway, I put them all back in their coop on their perch and they seemed to calm down.
I did a good job (I think.....) on clipping their wings, so I doubt I hurt them. Maybe they are just mad at me....?
