Loudest and quietest ducks

Cayugas. They're beautiful - all black, almost "beetle green" feathers, black bills, black feet. And they're pretty quiet. I have a pair, purchased in part because of their reputation for being fairly quiet ducks. Thelma will quack, but she mostly mumbles. Louie is very quiet and mumbles a little bit.

But they do have something to say when they come to greet me in the middle of the whole flock of chickens each morning.

Teal are a wild duck just like woods and mandarins. They are more for looking at. Not really like a domesticated duck.

i have a snowy call female who talks almost constantly. we've never had any other ducks to compare them to but they are loud.

My call hen is the loudest, i never hear a peep from my Muscovies and my silkies are noisy but not a loud as the calls.

Does being loud or quiet have anything to do with their friendlyness at all?
