Louie and Zeke started fighting

Whether or not you keep Louie you need to address your male/female ratio problem. If you keep any males you need more females and you need them now. Hatching eggs or even getting sexed chicks/ducklings doesn't address the immediate problem because it will be months before they are old enough to be safely mated. If you don't want/can't separate the males now, I suggest you try finding older chicken and duck hens to add to the flock. They should be same age or older than what you have now. You'll still need to deal with quarantine but it's still a faster option.

Thanks all for your help. There coop is set up at two rooms, an L shape, I have one room as the feeding room in the winter, and that area gets a lot of sun so they can also sit in there if they want the sun on them if they don't want to go outside

I could block that area off and make it into a separate room again, I will use chicken wire so they can at least see each other..

Our duck math is wrong. I have seen all the signs but cannot convince the wife we still need to re home one of the drakes.

Simple answer..They are Drakes and won't get along anymore..
My experience has been that my 2 drakes faught May to August. They were seperated during this time, and had supervised free range time together. I have four drakes now, and plan on the same procedures. Pain in the butt m, yes but everyone stays safe. In late August they were best buds again.
I'm told it has to do with hormones, which are triggered by amount of daylight. Maybe I'll try keeping them in the dark and see what happens.

During eclipse Drakes get along..Not during breeding season.
