louie the bully?!

We have a black Swedish Drake and a blue Swedish hen.Also a silkie rooster and silkie hen.Have noticed that Louie has been picking on Daisey my silkie hen.Her vent had some blood on it from where he got ahold of her.They had been all getting along just fine,now i am keeping the ducks and the silkies seperated.Why is he all of sudden attacking her?He does not bother the rooster,only my little hen.

You are right to protect her. Her life is in danger if the drake gets at her. Their equipment is mismatched, and that could cause serious harm or, I am told, fatal injury.

As to why - it is difficult to explain hormones, but I believe they are behind much duck behavior. Protect your flock, and that includes protecting females from males when necessary.
