Don't know how much more of this rain I can take. I think I may just lose my mind... Oh, and I had a rotten egg blow up in the bator yesterday. First time that happens, and have never had something stink up my house like that before. Disgusting...

And yes I'm so sick of the rain, as soon as things start to dry up here we go again.. It just started here again about 30 mins ago!!

We just worked on the coop today trying to get it were my babies aren't slopping around in the mud!! Hope it works!!

Hope everyone stays as dry as they can!!

Cleaned the coop and brooders today...made some more nests because the guinea hens are starting to sit in the nests and not allowing the hens to lay..LOL Weather wasn't too bad here...just a little windy...but not too bad...Much better than the heat and the smell of cooking chicken poop (even tho I'd love to do without the rain and stinky mud) LOL Hope you all had a great Christmas! And even tho the Saints didn't win home field advantage on their own...thank goodness Vikings lost...LOL They better get their rears in gear and all heal quickly!!! We need them all to play in the playoffs...!!

Hey, Missi, and Welcome! I know all about mud. It's so nasty here, seems like it just starts to dry up enough not to have to slosh through mud on the way to the barn-then here comes rain again. Yuck! Thank goodness I've got all the sand in my chicken yard-don't even want to think about how nasty that would be.

Hi, Mary. It wasn't bad here today till around 4:00, then it got really cold-don't know what was up with that. And the Saints, what the heck's up with them? Just don't know, but you're right-they'd better get with it. I want to enjoy the games again. And, did you hear, one of the players was arrested this morning-DUI, among other things. Can't remember who, but we don't need that, do we?? C'mon Guys!
