"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I'm so sorry for the multiple posts & wish I knew how to prevent that from happening-- I will not post anymore on the weekends here on the home computer -- I still can only see 1/2 of the screen here at home & obviously, can't make it work the way it use to----at work I have a much newer computer.
We hopefully will upgrade here at home in the next month or so.

anyway, again, my apologies!

No worries Terri! I'm sure it will figure itself out in time!

Chris, my one lonely NH chick hatched last night! Such a pretty little yellow chick! We will see what it turns out to be!

Quick update here-- as of right now, I've had 12 out of 14 SHIPPED EGGS hatched!!! it has been an intense 24 hours & I'm heading to get some sleep -- I have NEVER seen anything like this before w/shipped eggs! -- the last egg does have a live chick peeping inside so hopefully it'll hatch tonight-- & I had one hatch that died soon after -- it had something wrong you could tell-- these are the Rhode Island Reds & they are the healthiest, liveliest, most energetic chicks-- I did not even have to show them the food & water -- they figured it out themselves--

gosh, I feel like I've lived 2 full days in this Friday -- it's been that intense -- but all mostly good - hope you all have a good night, I have got to go get some sleep! and hopefully figure out how to post pics tomorrow--

is there anything better than hearing the sound of happy newly hatched chicks in the background?

Chris, thank you again for sending these eggs. I think I have a new favorite breed here!
I will "pass it forward". You did a greater favor than you know & I will gift somebody else down the road!
Wow, that's really some great news! Your now the 2nd person that has told me that they had a high hatch rate with eggs from that person, so that also something good to know. Anyway, I'm glad it all worked out for you...that made my day to read about your hatch!!!!

I just want you to know I was thinking about responding to all of your post just for the fun of it lol! but I won't do that to you.LOL!!!

Keep your fingers crossed that you get a pullet and I'll give you a roo that's a couple of weeks older to go with it. Also it won't be long before I'll start getting eggs from my own birds so if you want to try again....I'll give you some eggs to hatch. That 100.00+ for 6 or 200.00 + for 12 is just crazy. I also have 10 German NH chicks coming next month, same blood line just a different person, so even if yours ends up a roo I be able to hook you up with a pullet to go with him I'm sure.

No need to apologize about the posts. Please continue to post. We don't mind at all.

Congrats on the hatches. The RIRs are one of my favorite breeds. You will love them and you will get tons of eggs.
