Great! I was looking at the pics of your Sizzles...might have to get a hen or 2 if you have any for sale then!
I was picking eggs on yesterday and the VERY last egg that I picked was this monster.I noticed that the eggs are getting bigger since I stopped using lay pellets. Sorry about all of the pics but wanted you to see how long it was compared to different objects.
Julie, that sure looks like a goose egg to me. Where's your goose hanging out these days?
The geese are hanging out in the back where they usually hang. This egg was layed closer to the front of the chicken yard. I initially thought the same thing of it being a duck egg or goose egg but the outer shell was not that of a duck egg and the box that I found it in was the size of a mail box. It's a very small rabbit nesting box. If the geese got in there, then I need to call Ringley Brothers Circus because I have a contortionist on my hands if that goose can fit in that wooden box.
If I would have found the egg anywhere else, I would definitely think it was a goose egg. Then again, unless one of my ducks picked it up and brought it to the box, that could be another thing. I did catch a duck stealing a chicken egg out of the chicken house the other day. :/
I think Julie wants all the ones that I want to sell but we'll see what I have available in March!!! LOL!!!!

Hey y'all, today was Duck Delivery Day and I am excited! Lol. I've been playing with them all morning. I took advantage of Ideal's weekly special at $2.00 a duck I couldn't resist! All arrived safe, none DOA! This is the second year in a row that I've ordered from then with out any problems. Anyways I'm here to show off LOL

Jumping in to say a quick Hi!!! work has started to be quite crazy & by the time I get home about the last thing I want to do is turn on my old, slow computer -- hopefully will have a new one soon!
Those ducklings are cuteness overload! what are the ones with the "poofs" on their heads? I LOVE them!!!
My RIR chicks are growing like weeds - I have never had such a healthy, fast growing batch of chicks -- very, very pleased with them.
