I am going to come to the Opelousas swap just to bring my showgirls to visit you.

I know she has some very beautiful pigeons and I guess the showgirls are one of the breeds that it has a face only a mother could love haha I personally like odd looking birds. My bfs dad calls any chicken with a naked neck an ugly lol I know several people looked at my poor little naked neck frizzles all crazy when they saw them. How much do you sell your new hampshires for? My bfs dad has been looking for some.

As far as the hens, unfortunately, I am not selling any hens right now. I have a small egg business and I need my hens for the eggs for my customers. If I ever change my mind, I will definitely let you know. Thanks for asking though.

I never thought about having pigeons. Now you have me thinking about getting some.

I still can't get over how beautiful they were. I would have to build ANOTHER special aviary just for them if I got some.

I had a lady look at them and say the neck freaked her out and she took off, so maybe that was you haha don't worry I'll only be bringing my regular Frizzle Cochin Bantams to the next sell, but I am in the process of breeding some more Naked Neck Frizzle CB, just waiting on my hen to start laying and one to hatch her eggs she's setting on so I can put her with my Turnecken rooser.
If you ever decide to get pigeons and would like some from my friend let me know and I can get with her for you and give you her number, she doesnt live too far from Opelousas. I also know a man that lives up the road from us that raises and shows the tumbler pigeons and they are gorgeous, he has several different colors.

Nice geese? Don't let the picture fool you. They are a terror to the chicken yard. They are the meanest, most conniving, most evil, most selfish, most uncaring, most destructive, most hateful, most spiteful, most hideous, most malicious, most wicked creatures on this earth. They are in a world all by themselves and expect everyone to bow down to them.

They once ran one of my customers back in his truck and he had to blow his horn for me to come out and get them from attacking his tires and truck.

No, that wasn't me. I was speechless, so I wasn't able to mumble any words or sounds.

I will let you know on the pigeons. I need to study and learn more about them, feeding, living area, etc. And of course, I would have to build them their own private condo. I will let you know something.

How is the hatching going Missi? Any pics yet?

I'll post some tonight when I get off. I have 33 day olds and 12 2 1/2 week olds right now! Sunday the Easter eggers & the 5 Blue Slate turkeys go on lockdown and then I think the other 12 turkeys hatch like a week later and them the rest, 23 turkeys and the 60 for the Expo will hatch on the 18th.

Been trying to figure out what in the world I was going to do with them.. I'm running out of room!! I have some big bins with lids I use for storage that I can take the lids off and use.
