Yeah,.. I hate complaining,.. but then I catch myself doing it now and again and have to catch a grip on reality ,. I should remember that this freezing weather kills off a good number of bad bugs,..keeps the hurricanes away and is what I wish for in the middle of July when it's 101 and 95% humidity...


just thinking about that wave of heat and wall of steam as I open the front door,.. makes the cold look better.

SOOOO Excited!!!!

We made a bator over Christmas Break and put 3 black leghorn eggs in it. 1 didn't develop and I pitched at day 11. 1 started to pip last night and I woke up just in time to see it hatch.

Cute little booger too. I am soo happy, not only that mmy incubator works but that I have my fist baby!!!

I am going to grab the camera now. I was so excited trying to get my husband to wake up I didn't take pics until after the fact! I live in Loranger but am close to Robert and Folsom.
