Morning La-yers -- put 24 guiena eggs on lockdown this morning. Got 4 LF cornish and 3 Del X eggs for lockdown on Wed.

I will be going on vacation, but when I get back I will have some young solid blue maran cockerels to give away.  My black hens came from Peachick and were covered by a splash rooster from Charm1704. I think I have at least 3 or 4.  Let me know if anyone is interested.  They should be some really nice looking fellas!  Feathered shanks, and no copper showing.  PM me if interested!

Have a good vacation!!

MY PEAS STARTED LAYING AGAIN!!1:weee I found 2 eggs yesterday!!!! I now have 10 eggs in 2 bators.

Good morning ya'll. I hope that everyone had a great weekend.

Terri, the peas have started laying again. I have 2 eggs so far. I will collect pea eggs and place in the incubator after the eggs hatch this weekend. Lock down is Wednesday and I am so nervous. I don't know what to expect on Saturday. I'm excited to see what colors I get. I"ll be texting you like krazy this weekend. :gig Keep me posted on your guinea and pea eggs. My little devil (baby pea) is jumping and flying around. The flight feathers are LONG. I will have to post updated pics this week. His little foot was bothering him this weekend. He kept picking it up and pecking at it. I washed it with some anti-bacterial soap and dried it well. The ducks have been shacking with him, so I don't know what could have happened. I'm keeping it dry in their brooder but I may have to take the pea out and let it have a brooder all to itself. I don't want anything to happen to this baby.

What's going on with everyone else?

Well despite all the rain we had over the weekend I managed to build and finish a small grow out pen and almost finish a second one. I should get the second one done tonight. I built both of these to have inside dimensions of 3’ x 10’ with the bottom being about 16” off the ground. I have solid walls on 3 sides but on the front side, I have about 30” of solid wall and the rest 1” x 1” weld wire. I’m really happy with the way they came out and just in time too. I just got three young turkeys and now have a great little save place that I can put them in along with some young chicks I have.
