Post some pics! I'm sure Chris (I know I do) wants to see how the tail sets of them....if they are like my pullet then the OK Roos over the FL Hens will be a really good base for what Chris wants his line to start conforming too.

I'll get some pics this week! And Chris, I'll let you know when I'm over on that end!
 
Had a hawk do a fly by this afternoon as they were free ranging.... Didn't get any nor really got close but it came out of nowhere. :(


We had all our chickens in their fenced (but uncovered) area Saturday. My son and I were out in the yard with them and a hawk flew in and landed on the wooden fence about 3 ft from us! No fear at all- it must have been really hungry. We immediately put all the birds in the covered run and chased the hawk off, but the darned thing came right back and landed on my greenhouse. My son wet it down pretty good with the garden hose, but I don't think that is going to be much of a deterrent. I want to be able to leave the flock out to forage, but I work and can't be there to watch out for them. It's so frustrating!
