I didn't know what it meant either until I married into a family from Mamou

I couldn't run mine off w/a stick. If you look back a few pages, I posted a pic of them Sat or Sun. If you hatch them yourself, they will bond to you. If you get them as keets, spend a lot of time with them & keep them confined for a while until they are sure they are "home".

I'm excited now! Look at what I found for $30

I really like the fact that it has a top and bottom compartment. I think I could use the top as a hatcher and the bottom as the incubator. It's also in really nice shape and son't look like a huge eyesore like many of the other DIY incubator projects.

The only problem is that I now have to buy another incukit assembly for the top compartment. I think it would be worth it though. I could pretty much get rid of both my other incubators if this works out how I imagine it. I love projects

If I wouldn't have saw it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it. This weekend, I spotted a huge tom cat what was walking down the street. One of my guineas spotted it and he called out to the other guineas and then 1 by 1, they all came running to see what the "call" was all about. They took out down the road towards the cat. The cat ran in the woods and they ran behind the cat and I ran behind them to see what would happen. A few minutes later, they ran out of the woods 1 by 1 and I have not seen the tom cat since. I hope he survived.

They probably ate him.

I thought it would take me a while to find what I was looking for.  Boy was I wrong!  This was the first response I got, and it's perfect!  I will post pics once I get it up and running
