"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I'm really thinking about getting another incubator. For the life of me, I don't know why I want to drive myself crazy again but I think I need one if I'm going to try hatching, peas, turkeys, and goose eggs. :/

I like the pea pics Julie. Awesome looking bird.

I love Meyers lemons one of these days I will plant me some.

A few recent pics.

Thanks Cadjien_De_Louisiane. And you have some great looking birds!!!! Great setup!

Yes, I'm leaning towards getting another one because I feel myself stressing out if I don't .

FIGS?????? Oooooooooo, you are so lucky to be canning! You will have to share your recipe with me. Whenever I can find some figs, I would love to make some. In the meantime, I can only dream of figs. :drool Will you take a pic of them and post when you're done cooking them? :drool

Its hot and muggy here Kuntrygirl feels like late spring early summer to me LOL that pic of the peacock sure was awesome, hopefully it will rain here we need it. My turnips need to grow some, so I can eat me a big ol bait of them.

Good morning everybody! busy at work here. It's hot & humid & muggy & we have the AC running. Sure doesn't feel very "Christmas-y" today! We need a couple of days' of a good, soaking rain.

Nice looking birds Cadjien! love their bright coloring! sure do have long legs.

I'm mulling over getting another incubator too.

Speaking of cooking figs reminds me, I have some wild plum and also some muscadine juice in my freezer I put up this summer - I need to make some jelly this weekend!

Eggs in lockdown today - hope I get some chicks soon!

LOL

I'm sorta interested in how the offspring from these reds turn out if they are anymore docile/friendly than their heirs you'll not be able to go out side or in the coop without having a lap full or tripping over of red chickens for sure, It still amazes me at how much I can handle the one girl(Pest) and the others are about normal for someone else rearing them then transplanting to a completely strange new owner.

Ok blabber mouth end it(me)
